Neither do I know chants nor do I know methods, nor do I know how to make
prayer. I don't know how to invoke you nor how to meditate, I have no
knowledge of any songs. I don't know any signs (mudras) and I don't know the
method of imploring deep pleading. But I know one thing for sure, if I follow
you (within the folds of your love) I will be released from all my troubles.O Lord Raghuvir ! There is no one as poor as I am and there is no one as
helpful to the poor as you are. Considering this fact, please relieve me of
my worldly afflictions.
As a lustful man loves women and a greedy person loves money, O Raghunath,
with the same intensity may I love you.He who has snakes garlanding his neck, who has three eyes, whose body is smeared with ash and has the sky as his cloth-I bow to the "Na" syllable of that imperishable Maheshwar's great mantra.
He who has been adorned with Mandar and other celestial flowers, who is the sovereign king of the Pramatha Ganas, and whose body is anointed with the holy waters of the celestial Ganges-I bow to the "Ma" syllable of that Lord Shiva's great mantra.
He who is the resplendent sun of Gauri's lotus-like face, the destroyer of Daksha's sacrifice, the blue-throated Lord, whose banner bears the emblem of a bull- I bow to the "Shi" syllable of that Lord Shiva's great mantra.O Ocean of Compassion ! Lord of all beings ! In my heart I offer you a throne
studded with precious stones, a bath of cool water, divine robes adorned with
many gems, saffron-scented sandal paste, jasmine and champaka flowers, bilva
leaves, rare incense, and a shining flame. Kindly accept them.There is Somnath in Saurashtra, Mallikarjuna at Srisaila, Mahakala at Ujjaini, Parmesvara or Amalesvara in the Omkarakshetra.
Baidyanatha at the cremation ground, Bhimashankara in Dakini, Rameshwara at Setubandha, Nageshvara at Darukavana.
Visvanatha in Varanasi, Trayambakeshwara at the bank of Gautami, Kedaresvara in the Himalaya, Ghusmesvara or Ghusanevara at Shivalaya.
